KYN28-12内金属铠装移开式开关设备是三相交流50(60)Hz额定工作电压12千伏、额定工作电流1250A的户内成套配电装置。其母线系统为单母线宜可派生出单母线带旁路和双母线结构。具有实现"五防"闭锁功能。该柜体既能配用ZN63 (VSI)真空断路器，也可配用ABB公司的VD4真空断路器，实为一种性能优良的配电装置。

KYN28-12 indoor metal armored withdrawable switchgear is the indoor distribution equipment assembly, of which the three-phase AC 50(60) Hz rated working voltage is 12kV and the rated working current is 1250A. Its buar system adopts single buar; however, the structure of single buar with bypass and the structure of dual buar can also be derived. The switchgear has the "five protection" interlocking function. Since it can be used in combination with ZN63 (VSI) vacuum circuit breaker or VD4 vacuum circuit breaker from ABB Group, it is the power distribution equipment with excellent performance.

主要适用于发电厂、中小型发电机送电、工矿企事业配电及电力系统的二次变电所受电、馈电及大型高压电动机启动等，实行控制保护、监测之用。
